The point of this card: there is more than one concrete formula, and the right one depends on the job. The ratios shown are Indian-standard (IS) nominal mixes by volume. US work is usually specified by strength (PSI) and sold as bagged mixes labeled with their rating (added). Have an engineer design anything structural.
