Figuring It Out
Puzzled on the left, proud on the right. Same guy, same bike, one fixed chain.
The Holler Scholar isn't the expert — he's the guy still figuring it out, same as you. Every project starts on the left side of this page. Nobody skips straight to the thumbs up.
Color in both panels. Look close at what's different between them before you start — that dropped chain is the whole story.
About The Holler Scholar
Not one guy with one fixed history — he's deliberately built as the viewer, the everyman vessel, the Vault Boy of the whole Modern Monticello universe. Not a specific person on purpose. Whoever's trying something for the very first time, that's him: every project, every kid, every beginner starts exactly where he's standing.
