Grew up in a neighborhood where the power went out more than it should have, until the local grocery store eventually just left for good. Studied electrical engineering and came back on purpose — stood in the parking lot of a burned-out Kmart and did the actual load calculation on a napkin, then started making phone calls. That build now feeds power to roughly four hundred families.
