Titanium Stick 225 Inverter Welder (Item 64978)

225A DC inverter stick welder, 16.5 lbs, runs any common rod including 6010 and 7018, welds mild steel up to 1/2" in a single pass at full 240V power.

Strong, consistent 5-star review base citing reliability across rod types — HF's own comparison: Miller Electric's closest model runs $549–605. Starting with stick welding to build fundamental heat/puddle-control skills before MIG/TIG is a reasonable, commonly-cited approach in the welding community.
